All,
Here are some pics after Robinson Racing in Cumming GA got finished welding up my frame per the Chevy Power Book. Andrew is the welder. He did an awesome job. When you call you will deal directly with Harry Robinson or Barry Trivette. Great shop, great guys. They will be doing my 4 pnt cage later in the build. I didn't follow the book entirely. Just the seam welding top and bottom, the gussets at the motor mounts and additional welding at the motor mounts, lower control arms and where the side box meets the kick ups. Now it's off to Steele Tenn to get hot dipped galvanized and then structural foam.
While it's apart, I'd look really hard at making that center crossmember removable. That little mod will save you countless hours doing a clutch or trans swap. Properly done, zero loss of strength.

Yep that's good advice TimAT. That was discussed and will be done when the 4 point is put in. To do the 4 point, the cage will be on along with the pans. With the pans on, the clearance can be judged accordingly.
