My gauge reads full when full, and when it reaches E the low fuel light comes on appropriately... Most I've put back in the tank has been 18.6 gallons...
The capacities for my year state a 24 gal tank...
Last fill up I averaged 15.9mpg average... With these numbers I could assume that I could theorhetically drive for another ~75 miles once the low fuel light kicks on...?
I haven't carried around a gas can yet to see where the gauge reads when fully empty... Just wanted to ask here first real quick to see where others are hitting on their low fuel light in relation to amount of fuel to refill...
Not that I plan to run it to fumes every time, it's just handy info to know when in a situation where that could become helpful info...
Yea, which is why I want to know why my gauge reads empty at 18 gals on a 24 gal tank... So far it's not a problem, and I probly won't change anything... Just wanting to know what is my max empty for future reference...
I know a simple test will be running around with a full 1 gal gas can... Then running her til dry... Just haven't done that yet... And I'm not the biggest fan of allowing it to do that. Lol
