Default Quick sidepipe question (I hope) :)

Hello all,

Was wondering if anyone knew where I could fine the old style Hooker header/sidepipe setups. I had bought a set for my 69 convert years ago but now I am looking for a set for my 79 L82 and they seem a lot tougher to find (nothing local for me anymore)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Bob

I'd sure try looking on eBay - every now and again there are sets of pipes for sale. You can also post on the For Sale section as a "WTB", or Want To Buy" and see what you find offered. And just to eliminate confusion, the baffles (to replace the restrictive mufflers) are at http://www.spiralturbobaffles.com :yesnod: - and they kick booty!

The JCL heat shields are also a very good idea. If you or a passenger aren't careful you can quickly get a 3rd degree burn from the sidepipes. Be careful & enjoy :D !

Mike. Wouldn't you know it. I've got the shields for when you get out of the car, like yours but longer, but I had the hood up checking for an exhaust leak and bam! Touched one of the primary tubes UNDER the car. My first "KISS". :mad :yesnod: JCL
