Default Backup lights

My back up lights do not go on in reverse. What steps should I take to find problem. 1971 Corvette.

id start at the rear to see if its not a lightbulb problem 1st..

get out your multimeter//

test for voltage at each light socket (using that ground also.....)

if no voltage when in reverse (dont get run over!!) then id test the backup switch...

the backup switch connect the ignition-on (pink-black wire) to your (light green) backup light wire.

test to see if the switch is putting out voltage when its pressed...

if its not putting out voltage, then test to see if the switch is gettin voltage (test the pink/black wire...)

if the pink black wire dont have voltage (only when ignition on) then that wires broken somewhere or a fuse is bye bye....

pretty easy to fix this one....

Try reversing the IMG statements....Have the / in the last one.
