Sorry guys, no women here. My question has to do with paint stripper. My vet had a cheap paint job on it and now it is peeling in a lot of places. Should I remove the paint with a chemical stripper or by sanding? :seeya
Use a good quality fiberglass-safe stripper. Wash it off very thoroughly after each pass to be certain that you've removed all remaining residue. After that, wipe it down with lacquer thinner or acetone to be extra safe. It's a pretty messy process but you really do need a good stable surface to start with if you want a good paint job in the end.
