Default A little Spaghetti before fire up

Just finishing up the install of my new Blueprint motor. Trying to figure out the Spaghetti under the hood.

1981
CCC has been deleted (in process)
New 1406 Edelbrock Carb.
New HEI distributor (summit)
TH 350 Trans w/ 2000 stall conv.

I have lots of extra vacuum hoses and want to delete the extras.

I know I need vacuum for the following:

Distributor advance
Brake booster (stand alone for safety)
Heater control valve
Headlight vacuum (which I think is just the canister)
Transmission vacuum

Three questions:

Am I missing anything that needs vacuum?

What should be manifold vacuum and what should be ported? I have
read through all the controversy over manifold/ported for the dizzy) -- which is standard? At least, which one should I start with?

Can I put any of the above vacuum items on the same port with a "T" ?

Thanks guys! So excited to finish this up and fire this puppy up for break in!

Not real familiar with 81's but the headlights and break booster should come off a tee directly from the manifold. Vacuum to the dizzy should be manifold typically drivers side port on carb.

Brake booster comes off the rear of the carb base, trans and main vacuum (headlight and HVAC) come off the fitting just behind the carb on the manifold. Dizzy picks up vacuum from the port on the carb. If the smog stuff is gone (charcoal canister, etc) then that takes care of those lines. Do you have cruise?

Bend up some stainless steel tubing to clean up the clutter and use short rubber connecting hoses for that neat custom look. Mine is just like the factory did it so not as neat, but it works.

Ahhh cruise, that is what I forgot.

Smog (AIR Pump) has been deleted. Does that mean I have no purpose for the charcoal canister now? I thought it vented fuel vapors from the gas tank. Any reason I can't just delete it or do I really need that vented to the carb?

I was planning to do the stainless tubing but want to do the initial fire up and break in first...just in case I wind up having to move something around.

Thanks.

Charcoal canister on left side can go away.

You can buy a mixed size pack of vacuum plugs at any auto parts store.

Plug the lines from the tank down by the brake equalizer.
