Control Valves aren't overly complicated but attention to detail during assembly is critical. It doesn't take much to damage a seal during assembly or to assemble the parts in the wrong order.
Either have the valve replaced (if under warranty) or repair it yourself.
Personally, I would never buy a reman one- Especially since kits are so readily available and inexpensive.
