Hello all

ON 1982 crossfire ,did anyone replace their ECM with an embedded lockers flash(ecm) from www.dynamicefi.com.
It has new style plugs and jacks so you have to replace all the pins and
connectors. It is supposed to be much faster and more options.
I have one but I did not tackle the project yet. Anyone have any info. it would be appreciated.
Thanks, jimbil208

Yup.

Are you planning on getting the EBL converted through crossfireinjection.net or cut and pin the harness?

I think it was nastyz28.com I saw the guys using the newer ECM from an impala. It was very hands on with moving pins around and I think you have to move to a heated O2 sensor. The ECM was faster and easier to program but in a stock or mild application you won't see any difference. Our ECM checks 60 times a second and the newer ECM is a few hundred times a second. It makes for a slightly better idle and learns much faster than our ECM.
Why are you diving in so deep???

Thanks for replying Hugie. It does seem like a lot for a little, but I no how slow the factory ECM is and I thought that I could improve on a lot of performance items. one being smoothing out the idle.
