Default Instrument lights not Bright
I have every thing coverd, new switch, new bulbs guage face in excelant condition , it just makes me crazy cuase this is not the way the car came from the factory so something is wrong ! How about the blue background on the housing could this paint lose its luminating power ?

I have the switch that is a repo so it was of course made in CHINA like everything else we replace these days and the ground is good

I put in led bulbs the last time I had the dash apart. Plenty bright now, not sure about the blue paint losing it over time, seems possible though.

Yea car is apart now and leds are in there lots of but wont dim, wonder if its not the replacement Switch . Something caused this over time to happen

SuperBright LED's claims to have dimmable LED bulbs...check their website for more info...Good Luck!

Could it be a weak ground? Found these on ebay for my 77's small center gauges. Problem solved, they dim too.
