Default Exhaust(w/video)

Fellas! car is coming along. I was driving and hit a pothole and started to hear a jumble. Got out and saw my exhaust unhinged and dangling! Whats your suggestions that don't involve going to the exhaust shop and what size bolt for the middle attachment?

Thanks!

It looks like you just need a self tapping bolt that is a little larger than the hole in the frame.

You could tie it up temporarily with bailing wire ( or any soft easily bent wire ) Good Luck!

That hanger looks like something I have on my Jeep. If it is then the bracket that is bolted to the frame has a rubber piece with a hole in the center. The metal hanger that is attached with the muffler clamp just slides into it. You might need to remove the hanger and insert it into the bracket and then clamp the pipe to it again.

If that doesn't work you can probably use a universal tail pipe hanger and attach it to the frame where that bracket is.

Find a couple of bolts that fit the two holes in the crossmember, (You'll have to do some trial and error there)and as for the muffler, just look at the other muffler mount, and I'm sure you will be able to figure out what to do. Probably just buy a new one.
