Default 1973 frame height

I am working on my 73 I need to know the stock ride height of the frame with no passengers from the ground to the bottom of frame rails under the doors. my car had the motor out when I bought it so I couldn't get a measurement. building some custom parts this would help me out, I have looked all the places I could think of and can't find it and don't know anyone with a c3 to measure
thanks for any help in advance

I can get measurements from my 73
Do you want the measurement to the longitudinal frame member or to the cross member under the door?
If you can, post a pic of where you want the measurement taken.

AIMs (assembly instruction manuals) show the stock reference points and the measurements. Usually, the measurements are taken with a complete car, two gallons of gas, no passengers.

Far more accurate than any other method.

All of the above is great......assuming you have the correct tire diameter and pressure, and the springs have not been replaced/cut or are sagging after 40+ years.

Looking in my 73 AIM, the info described by Easy Mike is on Sheet A11, UPC 0.

Hence why it's always best to reference the Z and D heights, as illustrated below.
