I never mentioned 700 ft man you guys are sharp! I'm around 700 at the house, everything's up hill from there.

You will be more detonation resistant @ .040 than bigger quench even though the DCR number is over 8.5. Best option is going with a Lunati 262 cam, http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=2324&gid=287 If you can afford it you can add noticeable power across the board with no loss in streetability with this:http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=4576&gid=289 Either will work great with your compression ratio, gears and stock 2000 RPM convertor.

I went with the lunati 262 cam for this exact reason. It allowed me to use flat tops with 64 CC iron heads and a .37 quench.
