I have the dual Spal units. The fans do not turn on when they reach their operating temperature. They also do not turn on when I turn on the A/C(They are suppose to). What should I check? Could the relays be bad? How do you check relays?
one is an output, one input and then the power wires positive and negative....
the negative is usually hooked upto a sensor such as the temperature sensor which provides a negative ground when it goes above 180 or whatever mounted in your intake manifold....
soo that turns on the relay connecting your input to output.... the input wire will always be hot (or ground) depending on what the output requires..... i am not familiar with how your fans are hooked up.....
Re: Help! Electrical fans not working! (daily_driver)
Thanks
I'll try that. Hopefully that is all the problem is and I can fix it quickly. Lars is coming to town this Sat, and it would be a shame if I had to sit at home with the vette troubleshooting.
