Good deal.. I'm glad Mike got you handled. I apologize for the defective panels and the inconvenience.

So everyone posting here knows... the door pull handle bezels were mounted incorrectly on the new panels. Moving this bezel once it is installed is not an option since it makes a hole in the end of the bezel.

The customers new panels were picked up and replaced at no cost...

The panels are the best fitting panels on the market, they just goofed the trim install.

Yes. The lock plate just slipped in the jig when was installed. I've never had that issue before so it was just an isolated issue.

I had a problem with 1 of my door panels on my 1980 not fitting properly last year. I also purchase them from Wilcox. The owner himself took care of it for me and sent me a brand new replacement door panel.
I do not blame Wilcox for the bad fit. They do not manufacture them they just sell them. He treated me as if I was his only custom and I respect him for that.So bought a lot more stuff from them after that and I will continue to.
Great company and great people.

This makes sense to me however there seems to be at least two different manufacturers out there.... the backer material doesnt always seem the same. I know the cardboard ones are oem style but not sure if any aftermarket ones are made this way or if they are all plastic.
