Default 77 Bell housing?
I was just wondering if I were to convert my car into a 4 speed one day, Would I need a specific bell housing? Lets assume that it would be a Muncie which I think is what they came with in 77. I don't care about casting numbers. I just want to know if any 4 speed bell housing will work?

3899621 bell housing is quite common to find.. this would be the correct number you would need too..

a #697 would get the job done also and probably for less money
