Hi all.
Looks like I'll be replacing the brake booster in my 74. From what I've read a fun job. Should I purchase one with the the master cylinder with it to avoid fit issues between the new booster and old cylinder?
Thanks Brent

I recently upgraded my 70 to power brakes ... think it's the same set-up as yours. Firstly unless you have a cool environment or a necessity to do this now I would wait until it cools down a bit. Be prepared to spend time with the pedals close to your nose. It makes it more comfortable if you remove the drivers seat and pad the floor with something soft and you also need a good light source. The four booster retaining nuts are difficult to get at. If your master cylinder is still serviceable I would reuse it. If you wish or need to replace it later it's not that difficult. If you are trying to retain an original look, pay the extra, if you don't care there are plenty of options, some better than others.
first 74, your double posting,, same question in different threads.
If you have a vacuum problem, do not open/replace up your master cylinder.
you will be creating more new problems.
