no, no sealant, but a light coat of oil, and if you are using ARP bolts, they supply you with moly. The oil prevents the bolts from galling and binding while getting torqued.....does that sound right?
anyway...no sealant, but sealant on the head bolts that go into the water passages.

Thanks George, I knew the head bolts get sealant but was puzzled when I removed the main bolts.
Paul---I saw the reference to sealant in the manual & the rear main. You are correct.
