Love the look here!, could you expand on what brand you used, also did you use any of the mentioned dimmer "tools" or is it just lights on and full power is what we seee here ?

And these are the LED bulbs I used.

Everyone please check your owners manuals before ordering bulbs because it looks like the later models used T10 base bulbs and earlier models used the 1895 (BA9S) base.
Throwing out more more example, just tested this out tonite while the drivers dash is out of the car. Put in blue and white versions of these to see the difference:
Amico 10 x White BA9S T4W 5 LED SMD 5050 Car Indicator Light Interior Bulb Lamp
White makes the gauges really clear and has a good contrast with the numbers. Blue results in a little dimmer overall lighting affect and gives a nice more modern look. Maybe put the whites in the speedo/tach and the blues in the center console or vice versa, not sure. Only have 10 of each so will have to order more if I wanted to go the same color all the way around.

One of the best things I have done to my 69 vert, right up there with my Pro-Flow EFI and Mallory SSI Systems
Thanks for all the responses. Great images and ideas. I had thought about red or blue as well as white, but it was real nice to see what they all looked like.
Special thanks to TX-Techman for the comparison photo, above, with LED in tach and incandescent in speedo. That sealed it for me. I'm going old school bulbs. LEDs are a little too stark for me, and even dimmed they might be a distraction at night with my old eyes.
Thanks again,
Ed
