Default Question for "BIG GUYS"

I have a 1970 with auto transmission--always an an itch for a 4 speed and Big Block--I stand 6-4 and was wondering is it a problem working clutch being that tall with size 12 feets? Even with the auto, sometimes it feels like my foot hits the vacuum cutoffs when I go to apply the brake pedal. What better place to ask than the FORUM--Thanks

I have to wear sneakers or my feet wedge under the dash. My boots are too big to shift easily. I'm 6' , 210 lbs and wear 11 1/2 EEEE .

I am also 6'4" with a size 12 kicker. All the vettes I have had were equipt with T&T columns. Even with the T&T I find my knee close to the turn signal lever.

It seems (may be my imagination) that the brake pedal is closer to the throttle pedal with a manual that with an automatic. My feet are fairly wide and with some shoes it is tight between the gas and the brake pedal.

Other than that it is not a problem.

I have to go barefoot to drive my friend's 71 jag XKE, my foot will hit the gas and brake at the same time otherwise.

The 79 4-speed vette I drove was fine, though.
