Mirror Mirror....
I am having some body work done to my 1969 Corvette and would like driver’s side and passenger side mirrors. Anyone suggestions?
I will entertain the stock looking chrome ones. However they tend to move when I time trial the car. Are there molded ones like the later cars an option? I guess you would call them SPORT mirrors?
If you have pics that would be even better. Larger view is important.

C6 or c5 mirrors. Honda del sol mirrors... or Buick riviera mirrors my favorites are the C6 mirrors they look clean take a look at Brent319 (I think) car. They look sweet there's others also there is a c6 mirror upgrade thread if you search it.

Last mirror I brought was from Paragon,American made and has stood firm for about 5 years on a car with f-41 suspension,before that I had been buying one a year from major vendors who thought Chinese quality was good enough.By the way,the American one did cost about 5 or 10 dollars more.

I installed mirrors from a late 70s c3 [sport mirrors]. They might be the same as all GM cars of that era? They sit kinda low and don't give as much rear viewing as the chromes, but they don't fold over at speed either. In retrospect I like the c6 mirrors on the c3. There are some posts here on the forum with them mounted. Getting the mirrors mounted , 1 day per door, window glass laying on the bench, locating, they trying to figure out how to get the holes in through the 2 layers of door reinforcement so you can get a socket on to tighten. Just another one of those fun mods that really pays off in the end. T

C6 mirrors do not look bad on a C3. I thought it might be less expensive buy two replacement chrome mirrors. Hopefully new ones will not flop over at speed.
