Ive had to pull the dash out of my 76 multiple times.
Im tired of clicking in the grey wired dash lights every time. I was thinking of splicing all the grey wires together into a single connector so I dont have to keep removing all 4 of the sockets every time.
Whats everyones opinions on this? I dont have the time to pull and unwrap the wiring harness (again) so I would be splicing all the wires together on that side too.
The splices would be soildered and heatshrinked because I am starting to hate the twist and black tape method the PO used.
If I decided to switch to LEDs later would this cause any issues?
If I find a 3 prong connector at the u-pull-it today, I may use it for the brights indicator and turn signal too.

I had bought a harness at the pick-a-part for a newer gm vehicle so I had a bunch of connectors. I ended up making 2 separate connectors for the stuff behind the steering wheel. It made it easier to do - - if I remember right there is one on the left side and one on the right side of the steering column. And, Yes, I soldered and heat shrunk everything....and since I'm using factory type connectors they don't come apart unless I want them to.
I did not do the center panel.....mostly because it's so easy to work with as-is. I may do it someday if I'm being ambitious.
