69 Front Grills in a 70

69 Front Grills in a 70
Hi , I'm installing 69 front Grills on My 70 , and naturally there is no mounting holes anywhere . My AIM is for a 70 so that is no help. Does anyone have some good pictures of where to drill and how far the Grills are recessed in the chrome moldings ? (Alan Your pics are always the best and Your work is impeccable ! ) or the pages in the 69 AIM ?

You'll need to go with the 69 grille mounting brackets to pull this off. .

Thanks Wilcox , thats what I needed to see it gives Me some idea. I have had the brackets for years now looks like they are bent wrong, no wonder i couldn't make heads or tails out of it . Now if only Alen would show up with some of His nice detailed pics , but then He might not have a 69.

If you got the AIM off ebay.. it's a generic copy without the embedded search words..
So.. While it's a good book, ours is way better and what I'll do is send you one of our's no charge so you can see the difference. If your order is already shipped, I'll send it out separately.
