Dashboard wires help
Im reassembling my dash and im on the process of reinstalling the speedo and tach, most wires are labeled but there are these washer like wires i am not sure were they belong one of them is grey the other is black.
The wires come off the tachometer side of the wire harness I have a feeling they belong screwed to the hex screws on the back of the tach and should work as ground.

Looks like those wires should have a bulb socket on the end and it plugs into the back of the heat / AC control.
With the parking or headlights on the gray wire brings 12 volts to the socket and the black is the ground.

On my '78----That plugs into two wires of the same colour and goes to a bulb in the top center of your dash panel,(above the air louvers from the heater) The light shines down on the A/C heater controls. Please correct me if I am Wrong----boB
