Ceramic coated should be high on the list of options. They keep the under hood temps down. Also some companies have a ball socket on the collector end [Hooker I think]. I really like that option, no gasket required or ever to blow out. Plus easier alignment. As c3 dk showed, long tube headers are best for power increase. 1 5/8 tube dia is good up to at least 500 flywheel HP. T

I could be wrong but I think the stock manifolds for a 200h.p. engine are adaquate, with headers you'll lose some low rpm torque and gain at the higher rpm range. Since a 200h.p. 350 c.i. has a low rpm limit, you'll never gain what you've lost.Aside from a good tune up low restrictive mufflers might be better.Another thing to consider is go 1 or 2 gears steeper in the rear,if you have a 3 series carrier it would'nt be that expensive. If you're going to do mods to the engine forget this advice.

oh yes, tremendous power drop at low speed from about 800 R.P.M to about 1500. after that its all over. this power loss nonsense is way overplayed.
