Hedman Headers 68301 w/AIR
What exhaust pipes are needed that include a CARB approved CAT. The stock headers are bottom attached with a front "Y" pipe but the Hedman 68301 are more like a dual header collector.
Thanks

I would call Hedman and confirm the CARB number is good for your configuration. Modifications to the existing exhaust will be required.
From jegs,
Will not fit steering damper inside front crossmember.
Will fit with angle plug heads (Chevy aluminum only).
Elite replacement gasket #27520.
Includes parts necessary to retain emission devices. (50 State)
Not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Modification to stock exhaust required to retain catalytic converter.
For vehicles 1964 through 1974 with A.I.R. system, considered as O.E.M. replacement parts and do not require an E.O. #, when existing emission controls are not removed from vehicle.

EO#D167-27
I called Hedman about their 68301 headers and they have the EO# paperwork for 50 state legal, but requires custom pipes to make it work with CARB approved CAT. Can be done, just custom
