Default Rotor Phasing

I installed a MSD 6530. Locked dizzy out and it's up and running. Great little ignitoin box. I am looking at the rotor phasing and at idle it is to one side of the terminal firing almost in the middle of the two terminals, but closest to the one I am monitoring. Increase rpm for full advance and it lines right up to the terminal I have the timing light connected to. I figure since it is at higher rpm that this is likely most important I should be fine. Any opinions on my logic?

I have an HEI so its going to be a bit of a pain changing the phase

based on this document your logic appears correct.

I found an msd video too that shows optimal phasing. Once I get the curve dialed in I might mess around with it.
