Guys,
I want to swap my stock 350 engine from my 1972 Corvette. It has a stock 4sp manual and probably is not a Muncie due to it being "K" stock VIN. I'm looking into a roller cam set up. Any suggestions on engine block I should go with? One that will mate up? I'm thinking a vortec block (1996-99). I'm not sure so I need your expertise please!!

If you want a "crate" engine the Vortec L31 4 bolt main is a lot of potential for the $2000 base price tag. A cam, valve spring, retainer, intake, electric fuel pump, regulator and exhaust upgrade will get you 350 HP and it is all new GM. http://gmpowertrainwarehouse.com/12530283.asp
It's a new GM 383 roller, vortec heads. Forged crank instead of cast. Costs more than twice as much as the one above, though. Others warned about vortec heads limited maximum lift... so keep that in mind.
