I run NGK's in both my normally aspirated and nitrous applications, have had very good luck with them. If your header clearance is small, Accel makes some shorty style plugs which are also excellent but harder to come by, Summit or Jeg's would be a good source for them. The A/C rapidfires have a pretty good reputation but I don't have any personal experience with them.
I think the best cheapy plugs are the NGK's (what plugs do you have in now?)
That being said I just put aset of Bosh Platinum +4's in based on GKulls recommnedation (he runs his 383 hard!) I like the theory behind it, having the spark unshrouded, kinda like indexing, might be worth 5-10hp for me if its works(1-2% of 550)
Once I get a few miles on them, I 'll check em and see how they look.
I also, bought a set of NGK Irridium plugs...and if I get bored one day and go to the dyno maybe I swap and see if there is a difference. I think some of the C5 guys have been running these with good feedback.
I may also get crazy and order a set of HaloPlugs: http://www.haloplug.com/ $7/each
looks interesting. I am going to email them now.
