horn fix
I am trying to get my horns to work on my 1979 with a nontilt 4 spoke wheel. In the process the lets break parts game begins. I took it apart the first time and stretched the contact spring a bit for better contact, still wouldn't work. Put it back together and left for a short camping trip. Came home and was leaving to go to a cruise in dead battery, jumped the car and the horns worked long enough to drain the battery
. I think I can replace the broken parts (they don't show up in any vette catalogs?) I need the cap holder, round insulator ring, and contact list. That's the back round, the question is what do I need to do to get the horns working again? It appears the problem is in the upper contact. This has got me puzzled
