tank sender leak help

I have had the O-ring seal leak and the soldered tube joint leak. First time that I have ever heard of the electrical connection leaking. Gasoline is hard to seal, it eats everything. I think that you are better off getting a new sending unit. Gas isn't cheap! Lou.

I just redid my tank-
Looking at my old sender - When you remove the nut & washer it looks like a phenolic type material washer.
It's yours if you want it- just PM your address. If you need the o ring gasket some how ended up w/ an extra one. I'll put it it in the envelope as well. You can't have the Permatex gasket sealer !!! It was like $13 since it's fuel resistant- and I recommend it.
