Default header question

Can you run 67-69 camaro headers on an early C3? Would they hang too low?

I got my doubts. Obviously you're not talking about "Shorties" or you wouldn't be worried about how low they hang. My concern would be clearance around the steering box. I've got Hookers on mine and it's really tight in there, even though the Hookers were made for my car.

My bet is no. The front wheels and control arms on the Vette are a lot further forward in relation to the block compared to the Camaro. Frame configuration and accessories tend to drive the header design.

Thanks. The reason I asked was I found a set of LS1 headers for a 67-69 camaro.
