Low power at high rpms?!

This has been an ongoing problem. Under WOT it has a very rough time shifting gears and boggs for a while then finally shifts gears after struggling for a bit. I thought this was a tranny problem at first but i have now come to think that it is either an ignition problem, fuel problem or timing problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

tape a fuel pressure gauge to the windshield for a fuel test

Should i be checking ingition parts? Cap, rotor, coil etc? Or is it more likely a tranny or fuel delivery problem?

Have you tried adjusting the opening point of the secondaries? It sounds like the secondaries are opening too early. Do you have a q-jet? It will be easy with that. Do you know how to do it?
