Any one ever see the Summit Racing Quick 8 Wheels in person or have them on their car? I was looking at them versus the Weld Wheel Draglite as they are about half the price. I don't want to get them if they are cheap or obvious knock off appearing.
Wonder why the Draglites are listed as "for racing only" ?
I have the Draglites on a pro-streeted Cutlass. For mild street driving/cruising they are OK, but I would not use these on a car I intended to corner hard in. They are made from a 2 piece aluminum construction that is VERY light weight compared to most rims on the market. These were designed for drag racing with low weight as a primary objective.
I actually have a 3.5" wide one in my Vette to use as a spare tire. The wheel/tire combo is about 1/2 the weight of the original spare.
