I fail to see the issue pertaining to duration in this case. The can in question has sufficient duration for the added.lift. am I missing something?

Sorry for my having misspoke in regards to this spec during that sidebar discussion.

While a higher rocker arm ratio will absolutely increase the area under the valve lift/duration curve, all duration figures referenced at the lobe itself remain unaffected.
