Valve Lash

Good Evening All,
I have a 80 C3 350 completely stock. I have recently adjust valve lash due to some noise. All adjust ok with the exception of 3, the lock nut on the rocker is screwed all the in and has bottomed out and there is still slack between rocker and push rod. I checked and the push rod is not bent Any thoughts, maybe worn lob or failed lifter ? Thanks Steve

Is the rocker stud the same height as the rest? Hopefully its taller and you just have a stud pulling out otherwise collapsed lifter or worn lobe. Does it run like its missing?

Sounds like a flat lobe.

Yes, it idles with mis/ very rough. I have completed compression test and all are in the 138 to 144 range. Any way of t/s lobes or lifters ?? Thanks
