Z Bar install help...
Hi All!,
OK! so looking to install my Z bar. Had to get all new stuff b/c mine is kind of a step child...bought the car with a 348BBC in it with matching bellhousing etc. the zbar and forks looked ok...but after ordering them to match and make sure...they are different. so have to put this thing together from the assembly manuals.
so I seem good on the mount on the frame...but on the engine, I am installing the stud with rubber seal.
the weird thing is, I seem to have an extra cloth seal from the kit...I am thinking engine stud side, but this is not in the assembly manual. All things on the frame bracket side seem to coordinate with the manual. Thoughts please if engine side needs the cloth seal???
FOR LUBE, as it has a lube fitting, just fill up the whole bar with ball joint lube?
