Passed inspection today
My car passed inspection on the first try. :D i am always nervous when i go in for an inspection and the tread on the front tires was a little low. But everything worked and i passed with no questions asked.
As I was on the way to the inspection place I had a guy yell "Hell Yea" and give me a thumbs up while mowing his lawn, and I got an enthusiastic wave from a guy in a C5.
Its been a very good day so far, and tommorow I turn 21.

That's always a good feeling. Congrats.
They are usually pretty lax when it comes to a good looking classic car - especially vettes.
One year my 75 went in. I was worried about steel rot.
I came back later and the guy had put a sticker on (PASSED!!).
He says - " I wanna show you something"
I reply - "Yeah I know the rotted seat belt reinforcements"
He says "No" and proceeds to point out my MISSING body mounts.
Ha - you never know.

Nice!!! I wish they were lenient in VA.....have to have the darn smog pump working (at least look like it is working) even though it doesn't need to pass emissions.
