No check engine light
Car doesn't start, when to check codes and no check engine lite. Checked fuses all ok. Guess next thing is to pull the ECM and start probing.

We can only ASSUME your car comes with one? No details about what you have. So everyones guess is as good.
ASSUMING your car is equipped with a CEL. Does it illuminate when you first turn the key?
if NO check the bulb.
Things that wont illuminate the CEL Fuel, Spark ,or air. everything needed to make engine run.
DOes engine turn over? Crank but no fire?
Or should we keep trying to be mind readers

do you have spark at the plugs? do you see evidence of fuel at the throttle bodies?

If it's cranking but no start, check that you're getting fuel. If yes, pull the dist. cap and take out the ignition module and go to your nearest Autozone (OR whatever) and have it tested. The ignition modules go with no warning and are an easy replace and fairly cheap. Good luck.

Glad to hear you're back on the road. My '72 is put away until the spring. Forecast is for snow, tomorrow.
When you turn your key to the on position "before" starting, look and see if the check engine light is "on". It should be lit and then go off when the engine is started. GM's way of allowing you to check that the bulb is working. Good luck.
