I'm in Vegas now...been here for SEMA. Heading back home tomorrow though.
What's it usually run? What's the combo?
I saw Larry Larson and Lutz in the show...so I suppose they'll be there too. Farm truck is here too...wonder if they'll be out there?
Good luck...keep us up to date!
JIM
It's a 540 BBC, Precision ProMod 88's, Big Stuff3, Turbo Glide in a Bickle chassis. It runs in the .90's at 250+
There will be several of the Drag Week unlimited guys there. I think Mel is promoting a Larson vs Lutz match race type of deal. Not sure of the specifics on what they are going to have class wise for the unlimited guys this year. I know in past years Larson ran the Nova in 10.5. Larson' new ride would be a contender in ProMod from what I saw at Drag Week!!!
Several of the Street Outlaw guys are going to be there from what I hear.

Thats an awesome car man. Looks like u will be busy having fun with that. I see their even racing street driven cars next weekend - something PSCA doesnt have much of even though their title says so.
To bad i have to work 12 hr shifts that weekend. Well my vette is in pieces and my camaro has a miss that i dont have time to fix and for $100 dont want to race it like that even just to time it.
We battled a gremlin yesterday and missed the first round of qualifying. The car wouldn't make boost on the trans brake. Emptied the trailer and threw everything at the car. Finally, after changing converter, transmission, turbos, gates, Grid andBig Stuff box, sensors and pretty much everything else associated, got it going.
Made #2 qualifying round and had a good pass.
We were unable to better it today. Sheared the key on the scavenge side of the oil pump and wet sumped the dry sump system. One of those things...
Repairs are made and ready for tomorrow.

Man thats scary fast! Thats faster than Larry Larsons S10 (5.95 sec). Guess Larson broke into the 5's then drove down I15 onto the Las Vegas strip.
Too bad i was at work - well asleep actually.
Are you guys running full 1/4 miles or just 1/8 with an approximate time for the 1/4??
Holy crap that is fast…..now my motor build is feeling inadequate ( lol
