Hookers/sidepipes and angled plug heads?
I need some straight information from those who have them: I checked out the Hooker headers website, and according to them their sidepipe headers will not fit angled-plug heads. I called a supplier who assured me that they will fit fine with my Sportsman II angled plug heads.
So the question is: who's right? Does anybody have angled plug heads with the Hooker sidepipe setup? If so, what modifications (if any) did you have to make to the headers to get the spark plugs to fit?

No problems with TFS twisted wedge angle plugs and the Hookers, I would think the plug locations are about the same :cheers:

I don't have any real problems with AFR L98 angle plug style head. The #2 is really close (1/4" of clearance between the boot and header tube), but it doesn't present a problem.
I think Hooker's claim is more of a safe blanket statement.

I have sportman II angle plug heads on my sbc :yesnod: . I didn't have a problem bolting the hookers to them :) . If you do get the headers, I can give you some tips when it comes time to install them ;) .

The web site LIES They should change their disclaimer. I have 034 stock angle heads and the side pipe headers fit just fine the one plug is a little tight to remove but that's it.
