Ok I am a newbie when it comes to this 69 corvette. I am trying to find something out. There is a **** down by your feet area about right in the middle and I think it is a 2 position switch. What is this for?

it stops the wipers in mid swing to enable changing the blades

There should be nothing down by your feet. There are overrides along the bottom of the dash.

Owner's manual???

No this was for the wippers and I got my answer. Some people are just so **** that I should have said the bottom of the dash and then they think we have owners manuals and do not read them. Enough of that butt head. I thank you for your time in trying to find my issue I was having.
