What's it worth????????

I took some pics for him (inside and out). But before I speak to him again I wanted to get a feel for what it is worth.
The car needs paint. We were in the process of stripping it. But the body is solid.
New trans.
New wheels and 3 piece rims (real good condition)
Interior is in good shape. Plus I have Brand spankin new seats and a steering wheel (those are in the house)
Glass t tops
The motor is a L48. It use to run but once it warmed up, it would shudder. (I was just going to drop a create motor in)
Yea it's been sitting for years and I know that's bad on brakes hoses..etc But he owns a Vette restore shop so I figured it would be no big money or problem for him to do.
What do you guys think?
Just like selling it to a used car lot.
I think whatever you offer to sell it for (what you think is fair) he will think it is too high. He also knows what it will cost to fixup.
Just my opinion.
Terry
that's about what he pays for typical vettes, and unless rust free and really something nice....convertible with good top/mechanism...something making parting out optional, as well as maybe fixing it up for sale....
sorry, but, that's about it...good luck at any rate....take 6 grand and run...
GENE   :D

Yeah you're better off selling it to another guy, or fixing it.

I hear ya. I'm just trying to get a feel so I know where to start.
Mrvette
Nothing special. But I did have frame work done a few years ago! Took care of rust/rot.
Infernovette
I wanted to fix it up. That was the game plan. About five years ago went at it hot and heavy. I just don't have the time or the fazoolies (money) right now.
It's a nice car but needs work
It kills me because it's got potential plus it was my first vette :cry
But at this time I have to unload it.
