Default Silly Question
Hi,

A "junior member" to this forum. I bought a new shifter surround plate for my '70 Corvette and am trying to figure out how to remove the shift **** in order to install the new plate. It's an automatic.

if its like my 71, it just unscrews. be careful of the spring under the chrome button.

chrome button unscrews first then black **** unscrews.
