i don't think this valve/bracket or linkage should be bent, correct? Located at behind lower right kick panel, in their off positions, will the door on heater core bracket be closed, as well as the other 2 doors pictured in heater box and extension that is attached (I'm guessing that's for vent direction. Has anyone repaired the door at vent opening, behind lower rt kick panel, all the rubber is gone around the edge, that seals
It's bent for sure and should be horizontal to the car when installed. If you try to straighten this out it will probably break... if it does I believe I have used left in stock that will fix you up. I'd have to check tomorrow.
In regards to the door itself, you just drill out the old rivets and separate the two halves, then insert a new seal and re-rivet it. Here is a kit that will do it all for you, it's pretty simple.
