i started a thread a few days ago about my charcoal cannister hook up...i have a '74 minus the smog pump....the gas tank to charcoal cannister connection is there, but the cannister to carb connection isn't....anybody have a diagram of this? i wanna hook it up to the right carb nodule.
If your running a Quadra-Jet it's the vacuum tube on the lower front, right side of the carb. I just diconnected mine on my 73 Suburban 454.
I simply eliminated the canister and put a vacuum cap on the line from the tank - no problem.
Did the same on our 72 Camaro a few years ago - no problem.
They both have vented gas caps so pressure is not a problem either.
yup...i think you answered my question...there is a cap on the lower right front side of the Q-jet...i'm gonna hook up the hose and driver her to work today -- we'll see !
