Default Clutch Question

Well guys, I'm in the market for a new clutch for my '74, and want to double check so that I get the right one the first time. I'm looking at the McLeod 75224 clutch:
http://www.jegs.com/i/McLeod/673/75224/10002/-1

My question is, will this work for a Muncie M21 tranny? Just want to double check that it will because I'm looking into placing an order tonight.

Thanks in advance!

74 Corvettes came with a Borg Warner T-10 trans which is 26 spline, that clutch is for an older 10 spline Muncie. Muncie 4 speeds were 10 spline until 1970 then starting in 1971 they too were 26 spline input shaft, do you know if your trans was a 10 or 26 spline input? You might be able to determine this by looking into the fork opening of the bellhousing.....the 10 spline will be about an 1/8" wide tooth where the 26 spline will be under 1/16". I like Centerforce clutches myself

It's actually an M21 tranny. I got under the car and checked when I first got it. I thought the newer C3 Vettes were the ones with the T10s? I'm not sure about the splines. I would actually have to try to get under there and look. I didn't know they switched input shafts on the M21. Good to know.

Later M21s also had 26 spline input shafts too. Why not go with OEM like LUK and save some money?

They include a non magnetic pilot bushing with their kit too.

Well, after doing a bit more research it looks like for the late 74s they switched to the t10. I have an early 74 Vette, and it's starting to look more like a 26 spline input shaft. I was under the impression that all M21's had the 10 spline input shafts. I learned something new today.

Bill, the reason why I can't go with an OE clutch kit is because this will actually be used on an LSX engine. I'm mating the old M21 to the LSX engine.
