I am surprised that thing fits under even an L88 hood! I really would like to put a Maggie on top of my LS3 but am worried about hood clearance (plus I currently have a flat hood).

You might look into a Magnuson Heartbeat blower. While it's a completely different blower setup, it's still a TVS2300. It's rigged more like the LS9 TVS 2300 vs the previous gen Maggie 1900 and 2300's. I have one on my LS3 powered C6 Vette. It fits under the stock hood. I can't believe it sits up any higher than a carb and air cleaner would on even a low rise intake manifold.
