79- 2 exhaust questions.
question 1- i put exhaust tips on my car rather an exhaust place did (in picture) They do not extend far enough out of my car. what would be easier bending the pipe in an s shape to push the tips further out? or would it be possible to put chrome tips over the tips that extend further?? other ideas??
Question 2- a little while down the road i want to put straight pipe side pipes on. i want to have them connected to the rear exhaust, but with a cable or switch that pushes something to stop the exhaust flow to the side pipes. when the switch has the pipes open all the ports are going to be open. That way when im in town i wont bother anyone, but out on the open road i can open it up and at local car shows. ideas or suggestions for this??

the straight tip train has sailed already unless I put entire new rear pipes on. with that being said any advice for the current tips?
