Nice pass! You're a 60' away from 10s. Nice mph too.

Isn't that just a cammed LS3?

Looks strong!

My buddy's C6 grand sport with a cam only LS3 also ran 11.0@126 in good air.

Hey-Sean, long time no see. Last I saw you at OSW, I believe you had just installed AFR heads or LS3 cam. It is good to know you are still having fun with the white shark.

Whats up buddy... my first time back to the track in over a year.

Funny thing is I can run the 1/4 in 2nd gear... I can shift or hold it ... I was short shifting second. I still don't have the vacuum to hit 3rd at high RPM... I am sure the car can go 10.60s+ with a vacuum pump so I can shift into 3rd at high RPM

See this 10.90 pass... only to second gear. Notice MPH is lower because I couldn't get 3rd

I'm not following you on the vacuum/shifting thing?

Are you saying the trans won't shift to 3rd at wot? If so, that has nothing to do with vacuum. Vacuum modulators only control part throttle shifting. You have something else going on if it's not shifting to 3rd at wot. (Governor, valve body, bands/clutches).

Maybe I'm missing something...(I probably am..)

Is that black bulge bonded to the hood? Do you have more pictures of how it's intalled?

Yeah... cant figure it out. Maybe Vacuum...maybe not. each time I get it tested its part throttle and works fine. at WOT typically it will not go into 3rd unless I shifter super early like before 4k and that only sometimes. Maybe I need another trans.

The hood is a L88 that was cut and 1inch of glass added to raise the hood to clear my intake.

What trans? T400?

Wot shifts are controlled by the governor and changes made in the valve body. If the valve body has been modded for manual shifts, it will over ride the governor...if that's the case, then there is an issue with the valve body or the 2-3 shift components themselves. (Clutches/band/servo).

Does the fluid smell burned?

Sometimes if you let off the throttle and it shifts to 3rd with less load, that means the clutches/band is going out I believe.

Yeah, this sounds like this issue exactly.
