Default Brutus is alive and well!!!

I picked up Bob (Brutus) yesterday from the airport. The flight was on time but his luggage took long time to arrive... We went to my place and has some beers....   :jester :jester
We were chatting and drinking until almost 2 AM... This morining I went to Charlies Auto Glass to get my new windshield installed... ($200 installed - what a deal!!!!). The trip to the Auto Glass place also was my first test drive with the new carb... The engine ran over 20 degrees cooler with the new carb.. I might be running too rich even though there's no indication of that (no black smoke and car runs very smooth).... Maybe I need to do some adjustments on the carb....

Olivier

Replacing the jets was one of the easiest things I've ever done... replacing the carb was pretty easy too...

I'm afraid that I won't be able to get the car dyno tuned before Drag Race event at Bradenton... I didn't do any ajustments to the carb exept changing the jets and setting the idle.... I might need to do some adjustments to get the maximum performance.. I have to get a Holley tuning book!!!

I didn't even count how many beers we consumed yesterday - but if we continue drinking like that - I will have to file for bancrupcy in approx. 3 weeks!! I might switch to cheaper beer to avoid bancrupcy :jester :jester
I hope that he won't die from dehydration... There were only 8 beers left in the fridge but they are probably gone by now...

Yes I arrived here safe and sound (Scott may debate the sound part tho :yesnod:). Olivier is a great host and an even better barman. You gotta love a person who doesn't let your beer run out. :D
I'm looking forward to seeing as many Forum people as possible while I'm here as well as giving Scott his annual dose of Vegemite. He really does love the stuff despite what he might say in public.
Well Olivier will be home soon and then we're going to install his new Griffin radiator. Catch you all soon........especially you Scott.....I'll be there before you know it.

Bob,don't let on to those nice US citizens that we can drink lots of their beer because it isn't very strong compared to ours.....one of the other posts(vettevixen) talking about how you fit into a c3.....god knows how you fit into a boeing seat for 20+ hours without totally losing your sense of humour......john :chevy

Bob- aren't you glad that hundreds of Corvette owners know you're a big lush now  :jester Really though, he's not as bad as I make it sound, I'm just starting on him because he always tortures me when he's here. And eat all that nasty vegemite BEFORE you get here.
